Our fees
We offer a variety of different levels of service, based on the Royal Institute of British Architect’s Outline Plan of Work stages. Our fee proposals are based around the current Standard Form of Agreement for the Appointment of an Architect (SFA) for the Architectural work undertaken for all stages of work.
Our architectural services are either offered on a percentage fee scale based on the final construction cost of a project, or on an agreed time charge rate, depending on the type of project. Although on smaller projects we can provide fixed fees for the initial stages, with a percentage fee when overseeing the works on site. (Other consultants’ fees & statutory fees as required are additional to above, and are payable by the client)
Our fee structure has been designed to allow you to choose which level of services that you wish to employ us for, which can be re-evaluated as the project enters each stage of work, all to suit your budget and your project.
Party Wall Surveying
Ian Harvey and Daniel Wright are Party Wall Surveyors with over 13 years experience in the London property and construction sector. We are Members of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors and we undertake commercial and residential party wall work in London and the South East.
The Party wall etc Act 1996 is in place to provide clear guidance and restrictions on what and how any works can be carried out to a party wall/structure. As adjoining neighbours have an interest in the Party Wall or Structure between their properties it is required that notice be provided for most works to that wall/structure. The role of the Party Wall Surveyor is to mediate how these works are carried out.
We work for:
- Building owners wishing to carry out work to or near a party wall
- Adjoining owners who have been notified of the proposed neighbouring work
We will clearly explain how the Party Wall Act may be relevant to you, what steps need to be taken and how the Act serves to protect your interests. Our knowledge of the Party Wall Act combined with our friendly, professional and efficient service allows us to act impartially to achieve an amicable agreement between you and your neighbours.
During the process we keep you informed of progress through the negotiations and seek to conclude matters in a timely manner. With our bespoke service and competitive quotes we can compete directly with national organisations.
Please refer to our explanatory notes on the Party Wall Act to see if it will affect you.
