Project Type: Office Extension
Description: This project involved the provision of new mansard roof on top on top of an existing four-storey Grade 2 listed building in central London. The new floor floats above the existing flat roof to ensure the external walls supported the structural loading. The new floor extends into hiring office space and provide a new washroom core, lift and air conditioning. The scheme required Planning Appeal to ensure the new roof profile was in keeping with the original building design.
